Yes, the DAZ SYSTEM mosquito control system has improvement rates from 85% to 95%. Because it’s installed outdoors, the weather is a variable which can determine the percentage. The system reaches maximum efficiency after 5-7 days of operation.

The DAZ SYSTEM automatic misting system is composed of a control unit which electronically prepares the mixture of water, insecticide and, if desired, fragrances or natural essential oils. The control unit has a motor which pushes the mixture into small hoses, which run along the perimeter of the garden, hidden in the greenery. The mixture is expelled through the spray nozzles, which break it down into millions of particles and micro droplets. The air then distributes the mist across the surface of the garden.

DAZ automatic mosquito misting systems are installed around the entire perimeter of the garden to be protected, and in wetter zones within it as they are the idea habitat for mosquitoes. The small pipes which transport the mixture are hidden in the plants (hedges, trees, flowerbeds, railings, etc.) and also using any pre-existing channels and corrugated ducts for their passage. The creation of that barrier takes place without the need to modify walls or dig ditches.

The insecticides we use are called ‘PMC (Presidi Medici Chirurghi)’ in Italian, which means they are regulated in accordance with the safety precautions established by the Italian Ministry of Health.
The low doses in the mixture, the times chosen for misting and the outdoor environment further increase the safety of the system.
All the products recommended by DAZ SYSTEM have been tested on the control units, ensuring their proper functioning and, despite being lethal for mosquitoes and other small bothersome insects, the low recommended doses aren’t harmful to humans or domesticated animals and pets.

With the insecticide mixtures, even if the doses are low and not particularly hazardous, it’s best not to be present in the area while the misting is taking place (1 minute in the morning and 1 minute in the evening).

Yes, the DAZ SYSTEM line of fragrances and essential oils irritates the sense of smell of mosquitoes, while remaining absolutely harmless in terms of health. In any case, they are usually only used in very low doses (0.2%) in our mixtures.

The misting process is very quick. All it requires is programming the control unit to activate for just 1 minute in the morning and 1 minute in the evening to eradicate mosquitoes for the entire day. In particularly warm periods, in which the product might evaporate quickly, an additional misting can be carried out. The control unit is easy to programme, so that the customer can independently decide the hours, days and period during which to activate the system.

Yes, the rental option is preferred by some customer categories, such as hotels, restaurants and other businesses which don’t want to invest in the purchase of a system, but which would benefit from the service it provides. Our rental option provides a long-term lease of at least 3 years, covering only the months in which mosquitoes are present.
By paying a monthly fee, end clients will enjoy the benefits of the DAZ SYSTEM. Once the contract expires, it’s possible to renew the rental year to year or to purchase the system definitively.

The customer is free to choose to maintain the mosquito control system independently or to opt for an optional maintenance contract with DAZ SYSTEM and its installers. The contract includes the opening of the system at the start of the season, the verification of its proper functioning, and the closure of the system once it is no longer in use. Moreover, DAZ SYSTEM provides all the products needed to cover the entire season. DAZ SYSTEM misting solutions are great for lowering management costs. The insecticide is supplied in a pure form so that customers purchase just that and use their own water to fill the mixer cans. This means that it is essential to position the control unit near a water spigot and an electrical outlet. Energy use is low (350 watts) as the system is active just for a few minutes per day (1 in the morning and 1 in the evening). Even water use is low as, for a small or medium home with a small garden, the system consumes just 1 litre of water per treatment.
